Steady: Fan & Brown Noise
Sleep sounds that never loop.
Most sleep sound apps play a recording on repeat. Once you notice where it starts over, you hear it every time. Steady makes each sound on your phone as it plays, so there's no seam to catch at 3 a.m.
For a baby, Pro has a parent's shush that never runs out of breath, a muffled heartbeat like in the womb, and a hair dryer. Put the phone across the room, 7 feet or more from the crib, and keep the volume low.
- Brown and white noise, plus a box fan you can speed up or slow down.
- A sleep timer that fades out instead of cutting off.
- Keeps going with the screen locked. Start it from Siri or the Action button.
- Pro also adds pink noise, rain and ocean waves, and mixes up to three at once.
Free to use. Pro will be $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year with a free week to try it, or $89.99 once.
No account, no ads, and it never touches the microphone.
